Beat the fat, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until fluffy. Add the eggs. Stir in flour, baking powder, almonds, brandy and lemon zest. Grease the grease pan, sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread the batter on it. Bake in the preheated oven (top/bottom heat: 175°C, gas mark: level 2) for 25 – 30 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, egg white and possibly some water.

Tint 4 tablespoons of the mixture with food coloring. Pour into a plastic bag, cutting the tip just off. Spread the white icing on the cake.

On top, pipe thin yellow stripes at 2 cm intervals. Run a knife back and forth through the frosting across the stripes at the same distance. Let dry.
