Cream the margarine with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the eggs one by one and mix.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Finally, add the milk. Spread the dough on a baking sheet and either spread 2 glasses of drained sour cherries on top and press them lightly into the dough or top with 5 large apples (Jonagold, cut into wedges). For the crumble, knead sugar with butter and mix in flour, almonds and cinnamon by hand until crumble forms. Sprinkle over the cake and bake at 200°C for about 35 minutes.
