Put the flour in a bowl and make a well. Mix the sugar with the yeast and some of the lukewarm milk and pour into the well. Mix with a little flour and let rise, covered, for 15 minutes. Add remaining milk, salt, egg and butter and knead well.
Let rise again for about 40 minutes. Dice bacon and fry briefly. Add cheese and bacon to the risen dough, divide evenly into 12 muffin cups and bake at 160Β°C hot air for approx. 30 min. on middle rack.
