Knead together flour, yeast, milk and sugar. Cover and let rise for approx. 30 min.
Add all other ingredients except the anise and knead. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes. Put the dough into two greased terracotta flower pots. Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes. Then sprinkle with aniseed.
Bake on the lowest rack at 225°C in a preheated oven for about 35 minutes. Leave to stand for another 30 min. in the switched-off oven.
