🍓 Ingredients

50 grams Flour
200 grams Fruit dried or candied (eg raisins candied lemon peel candied orange peel)
4 Rolls atbackene or the appropriate amount of white bread
1/2 teaspoons Baking soda
75 grams Butter
1 teaspoon Spice mixture English (Mixed Spice) substitute gingerbread spice
75 grams Sugar
  Milk
  Butter
  Sugar brown

🍽 Instructions

Break the bread into small pieces and soak in water, then squeeze. Add flour, dried fruit, spice mixture and sugar. Melt the butter and pour it over the bread. Finally, add the baking soda dissolved in a little milk. Mix everything well, pour into a greased baking dish and press down. Sprinkle with brown sugar and place butter flakes on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When I was little, my mom would often use leftover bread (gray bread, white bread, rolls) this way, I loved it as a kid.

Since my recipe contained only pi times thumb indications and English units of measurement, I struggled a bit with the quantities, but I think it works out that way.
