Knead butter with powdered sugar, vanilla and egg yolk, finally mix in the flour. Chill for some time. Roll out the dough on a baking tray (diameter approx. 26 cm), place a baking frame around it and bake at approx.
180° C for approx. 10 – 15 min.
This base is well suited as a basis for cakes. In this case, jelly is then spread on the finished base, a sponge cake base is placed on top, filled with cream or buttercream mixture and possibly further sponge cake bases are placed on top and filled (depending on the desired height) and finally decorated.
