Drain the cherries in a sieve, reserving the juice. Remove 3 tablespoons of the cherry juice and set aside.
Wash the lemon in hot water and rub dry.
Grate the zest and squeeze the lemon. Place the cherry juice, lemon juice and zest in a saucepan, add the cinnamon and bring to the boil.
Stir the cornstarch in the reserved cherry juice until smooth and thicken the cherry juice with it. Fold in the cherries and let cool. Mix cream cheese, yogurt and vanilla sugar. Divide the cherry compote among glasses, pour the cream cheese cream over it and sprinkle with chocolate shavings. Chill before serving.
