2 tablespoons Lemon juice
4 Chicory about 200 g each
200 grams Cheese (Gouda medium old) cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons Breadcrumbs
75 grams Whipping cream
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
200 grams Ham cooked cut into thin slices
  Salt and pepper

🍽 Instructions

Clean, wash and drain the chicory. Then cut in half and sprinkle with lemon juice.

Blanch the halves briefly in boiling water. Then place the chicory halves in a greased baking dish. Cut the slices of ham and cheese in half and push them in between (finish with cheese). Season the cream with salt and pepper to taste and pour over the vegetables. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top and place the butter cut into flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C convection oven for about 10-12 minutes. Wash the chives, cut them into small rolls and sprinkle them over the finished gratin.

Serve immediately.
