Mix the mayonnaise with the herbs to make a tartar sauce (alternatively, you can also use ready-made tartar sauce). Now cut the freshly baked rolls in the middle. Spread a layer of tartar sauce on the tops, and place the lettuce cut into small strips on top.
On top of the lettuce also put some remoulade, so that everything will hold better later. Now fry the sausage from all sides and then cut it into about 10 slices.
Fry these slices also from both sides until crispy. Now place the slices on the lettuce layer. Put some tartar sauce on the slices and put the diced tomatoes and onions on top.
Now put a handful of cheese in the pan and let it melt. Then put the cheese on the bottom parts of the roll.
Now fold both halves back together. Serve fresh.
