Cut the wholemeal bread into small pieces and place briefly in cold water. Remove the bread from the water, squeeze it out and puree it with the help of a hand mixer.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan and mix well with egg yolks, marjoram, yeast extract and herb salt. Then mix this with the bread puree. Dissolve the vegetable stock cube in boiling water, then remove the pot from the heat, pour in the previously prepared mixture and whisk everything well. Finally, refine the soup with the cream and herbs and season with herb salt.
