Cut the onions into cubes and fry them with the bacon cubes in a little fat in a pan. Deglaze with white wine. Put the onions and bacon in a wide baking dish and place the salted and peppered meat on top.
For the sauce, mix the cream with the tomato paste and season with herbs, salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the meat and bake at approx.
175°C (convection oven) for 3/4 hour on the middle shelf. Baguette, pasta or rice go well as a side dish.
