🍓 Ingredients

4 Eggs
800 milliliters Milk
200 grams Semolina (soft wheat)
125 grams Bacon diced
  Salt and pepper
some Butter
100 grams Grated cheese (e.g. Emmental)

🍽 Instructions

Boil the milk with a little salt and remove from heat.

Then stir in the semolina and continue stirring for a while until the mixture is a little firmer. In the meantime, fry the bacon. Now the eggs should be whisked and then folded into the semolina porridge, as well as the fried bacon.

If necessary, you can now season with salt and pepper. With a ladle, the porridge is now scooped into the hot pan and briskly spread about 1 cm thick.

When both sides are fried to a golden brown, the cakes can be enjoyed. The cheese can be sprinkled on during frying (just before the second side is done frying), or it can be added to the plate when serving.

Onions would certainly go very well in this recipe, but I didn’t have them in the house. A delicious meal, which is quickly prepared.
