Preheat oven to 180°C. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
Then drain through a sieve. Cut the ham into small pieces.
Put the pasta with the ham in a baking dish. Beat the eggs with the milk. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and pour over the casserole. Pour the grated cheese over the casserole and finally spread some butter flakes on top. Place in a hot oven and bake on the middle rack for about 45 minutes.
