🍓 Ingredients

100 grams Sugar
100 grams Margarine
5 Egg yolk
2 teaspoons Baking powder
100 grams Flour
125 grams Sugar
5 Egg white
  Chocolate coating of choice
125 grams Nuts ground

🍽 Instructions

Beat margarine and sugar until fluffy.

Add the egg yolks one by one and stir in.

Mix flour with baking powder, sift into the mixture and fold in. Pour into a greased springform pan.

Beat the egg whites with the sugar until very stiff and gently fold in the nuts. Then spread the mixture over the dough.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool after baking. Then turn the base over and brush the underside with melted chocolate coating. When the chocolate has set, divide the cake into 12 pieces.

Every other piece is then flipped over so that you always have a dark piece and a light piece alternating. The cake is easy to bake and then makes with the ‘play of colors’ really what.
