🍓 Ingredients

1 large Onion
1 kilogram Minced meat
100 grams Raisins
2 tablespoons Apricot jam
50 grams Almonds sliced
1 slice White bread
2 tablespoons Chutney (fruit chutney)
3 Eggs
3 teaspoons Curry (preferably self-mixed)
2 teaspoons Turmeric
1/4 liter Milk
25 milliliters Lemon juice
3 tablespoons Oil
2 Bay leaves (orig: lemon tree leaf)

🍽 Instructions

Soak the bread in 125 ml of milk, squeeze it, peel the onion, chop it finely. Knead the bread into the meat, add all the other ingredients except the eggs, milk, oil and bay leaves and knead well, fry hotly in hot oil, add the bay leaves and let them color well. Put everything in a sufficiently large buttered ovenproof dish. Whisk the eggs in the milk, pour over the meat mixture (do not mix) and bake in the oven at 180° for about 50 minutes. (The egg-milk mixture must be firm).
