Soak the beans for 12 hours and then boil them with 1 1/2 l water on low heat for 30 minutes.
Dice bacon, clean onions, carrots zucchini, potatoes and leeks and cut into small cubes. Clean green beans and break them once. Fry the bacon, fry the onions, carrots and leeks in it for 5 minutes, mix in the tomato paste and add everything to the pot with the borlotti beans.
Add salt and pepper and cook for another 30 minutes. Add the rest of the vegetables, the crushed garlic and the rice and cook everything for another 20 minutes. Season to taste and serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
