Coarsely grate the apples and immediately mix with the lemon juice. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Add the eggs and mix.

Mix more, cornstarch and baking powder and stir in. Drain apple rasps on a sieve, add to the dough with nuts.

Line a loaf pan (26 cm) with baking paper.


Fill in the dough. Gas oven: level 2 for about 60-75 minutes.

After half the time, cover with parchment paper if necessary, otherwise it will be too brown.

Let the cake cool and carefully turn it out of the pan.
