Cook pasta according to package directions and with peeled garlic clove, chili and chopped tomatoes. Add beans and cook for 5 minutes. Coarsely chop onion and herbs and puree with avocado, garlic from pasta water, lime juice and 2-3 tbsp pasta water.
Season with salt, pepper and cumin. Drain pasta and beans, serve with avocado pesto and finely chopped cheese and herb leaves, if desired.
