Boil a strong, nice dark tea from the water and the peppermint. Then slowly add the sugar and dissolve well. Briefly boil again until it simmers. Then add the citric acid. Now wash out the syrup bottles while hot and prepare them. Add green food coloring to the syrup and fill into the bottles with a funnel. Serve cold diluted with water.
