🍓 Ingredients

80 grams Ground poppy seeds
1 Vanilla bean
140 grams Milk (whole milk)
2 Egg yolk
300 grams Whipped cream
100 grams Sugar
50 grams Honey

🍽 Instructions

Heat half of the milk with the vanilla pod – scrape out the pulp and add to the milk with the poppy seeds and burn for 1-2 minutes over medium heat.

Beat the egg yolks and sugar in a water bath until foamy – boil the honey in the rest of the milk and dissolve – stir into the egg yolk mixture.

Stir everything in a hot water bath until the mixture thickens slightly.

Stir the poppy seeds into the mixture and let it cool – at the end carefully stir in the whipped cream. If an ice cream maker is available, the ice cream is ready in 30 minutes – freeze in the freezer for 4-6 hours.
