Peel the potatoes and clean the peppers. Wash and coarsely dice both. Peel and finely dice the onions. Melt the butter in a pot. Sauté the onions until translucent. Add flour and chili powder and sweat for 2 minutes while stirring. Add broth while stirring and bring to a boil.

Season with salt and pepper. Add the potatoes and peppers to the boiling sauce and cook over moderate heat for about 25 minutes. Add the thyme sprigs.

Cut the sausage into slices. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the sausage in it over medium heat until browned all over. Remove the thyme sprigs from the ragout. Stir in the creme fraiche and season again with salt and pepper. Heat the sausage in it.
