🍓 Ingredients

500 grams Pumpkin(se) peeled diced
120 milliliters Vinegar - essence
1 liter Water
250 grams Sugar
20 grams Ginger
2 sticks Cinnamon
6 Cloves

🍽 Instructions

Boil the water and dissolve the sugar in it. Add vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and simmer everything for about 10 min. Then add the peeled and diced pumpkin flesh.

Cook over medium heat until the pumpkin becomes translucent and soft. Then let cool and serve. You can also pour the compote hot in portions into screw-top jars and enjoy later.
