Prepare a quark-oil dough. Mix the quark with milk, oil, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Mix flour with baking powder and sift if necessary.
Stir about half of the flour mixture into the dough. Knead the rest by the tablespoon. Finally, knead the washed and well drained currants into the dough. Form a roll and cut into 16 even pieces. Form round rolls, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread thinly with canned milk. Bake at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes (hot air).
Tip: Fill the rolls with jam or plum jam.
To do this, flatten the round balls slightly and top with 1/2 tsp filling. Fold the edges of the dough together like a bag, close well and place on the baking tray with the round side facing up.
