In advance I would like to say that all ingredients are variable in quantity to mix. This solyanka is just one of my many variations.
Fry bacon with a little oil and margarine in a pot. Add coarsely diced sausage and cabanossi.
Let it stew a bit and then clean and chop the onions and peppers and add them. Finely chop the garlic and add to the pot with the letcho, pizza tomatoes and 2 bay leaves. Then season with mustard, vinegar, chili and sugar. Then add vegetable broth and tomato juice. Finally, add gherkins and season everything with tomato paste, cucumber liquid and lemon juice. Let everything simmer until it tastes good. Some like it crunchy (peppers – sausage) and others just soft cooked. It goes well with French bread or brown bread. You can also add cooked rice for satiety.
