Grate the block chocolate and set aside. Separate two eggs, whisk the egg whites.
Place the two egg yolks and the remaining two eggs in a bowl and beat with the margarine or butter until fluffy. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and stir in.
Add salt, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. Sift the flour and place in a separate bowl with the grated block chocolate and the pudding powder and mix briefly with the baking powder. Gradually stir into the butter mixture. Add the milk to keep the batter creamy. At the end, gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
Pour the dough into a wreath form and bake at about 190°C for 30 – 40 min. – be careful not to bake it longer, otherwise it will be too dry.
