🍓 Ingredients

1 can Tuna
3 Bell peppers
3 Cornichons
4 tablespoons Sour cream
1 Onion
2 teaspoons Tomato paste
1 Garlic clove
  Salt and pepper
2 teaspoons Mustard
as you like Bran (oat bran) or oat flakes
3 tablespoons Grated low-fat cheese

🍽 Instructions

Wash the peppers. Either cut off the top or cut in half lengthwise, remove the seeds. Drain the tuna well, pick it apart with a fork. Chop onion, cornichons and garlic and mix with tuna, sour cream, mustard and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper and stir in 1 tablespoon cheese.

When baking later, there will be a lot of liquid. If that bothers you, you can stir some oat bran or oat flakes into the mixture so that they absorb the liquid. You won’t taste it out later.

Fill the peppers with the tuna mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Cook in the preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes.

It goes well with a salad, but also with rice or pasta. But it is also good filling without a side dish.
