Pour the applesauce into a saucepan and stir in the cake glaze.
Bring to the boil, then let cool slightly and spread the puree on the cake base. Whip the cream with cream stiffener and spread on the completely cooled down puree. Decorate with chocolate shavings and refrigerate or add the cream just before serving.
