๐Ÿ“ Ingredients

4 Eggs
120 grams Butter
350 grams Sugar
125 milliliters Milk
3 teaspoons Baking powder
5 Grated carrots
300 grams Flour
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
85 grams Almonds finely chopped

๐Ÿฝ Instructions

Beat eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl until foamy.

Heat butter and milk until just before boiling and add to egg mixture while stirring.

Fold in flour mixed with baking powder. Peel the carrots and grate finely,( possibly yellow beets or apples, grate apples more coarsely). Then fold into the dough. Immediately spread the dough on a greased baking sheet, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and chopped almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ยฐC for about 20 minutes.

You can also take gooseberries or rhubarb, instead.
