3 cm in diameter) and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Coat all stars thinly with the powdered sugar and egg white mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for about 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool and store in well-sealed tins – if they have ‘survived’ the cooling.
