Cut rolls in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread cream cheese on the bun halves – but do not use too much. Clean the tomatoes and slice them together with the mozzarella. Then place the slices alternately on the bun halves. Then season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the basil (of course you can also use fresh basil). Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 10-12 minutes (but not longer, otherwise the cheese will melt).
Serve immediately.
