First wash and dice the tomatoes and zucchini, fry both briefly in oil with the chopped onions. Add canned tomatoes, put the lid on the pot and let everything cook. After 5 minutes, add water and finely chopped lovage.
Let everything boil again for a short time. Finally, add the cream and puree everything. Then cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. The tomato sauce is perfect for freezing and tastes even better after thawing and reheating. I serve it classically with pasta. The taste of fresh lovage goes great with the vegetables.
