Cream butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Then mix the flour with the baking powder.
Add alternately with the milk and stir until the batter is nice and creamy. Then the waffles can be baked in batches. The amount of dough makes about 10 waffles. These can then be served with hot cherries, powdered sugar, cream or ice cream as desired.
